Hi, I'm Annette Augustine, wife and mother of 2 children.
I was in the health field for many years and finally
decided that helping & working with dogs and their owners
was something I really wanted to do.
Throughout my life I have had and worked with many
breeds of dogs. I
am currently a Certified Dog Trainer with certification in
animal CPR and first aide and couldn't be happier. In my puppy
classes we work on basic skills every puppy should know to
remain happy and healthy, such as watch me, sit, stay, come,
leave it and some basic walking.
We talk about normal puppy problems and how to change
the behavior like potty training, nipping, chewing and much
more.
We do a lot
of practical applications to make sure everyone fully
understands how to help their puppy, we even work with
classmates dogs so they understand they need to listen to all
cues no matter who gives them.

Sit, Cone, Stay, Down, Off. |

You will be taught basic techniques on how
to train your dog to:

Take a Treat Politely
Not to Jump on People

Other practical lessons.

This will be a series of classes that will introduce you to
various training techniques that will help you socialize your
dog, so that they may become and enjoyable and welcomed member
of your family.

Hi! I'm Holly Robold and I will be the "leader of
the pack" in the next training session here at
Poochies and Mutts. I've had dogs in my life since
the start, with my first try at "training"
with a little poodle called Cokie. As an adult,
my husband and I have had quite a number of dogs, mostly
sporting and in particular weimaraners and brittanys...
yup, you guessed it we are bird hunters! I became
quite involved in training and competing maybe 20 years
ago and have a number of titles in obedience,
conformation and hunting and one of my little dogs was a
therapy dog. Several
of my dogs hold titles in Canada. Our classes here
are meant to be fun and informative…we’ll try to
give you ideas on getting and keeping your dogs
attention and a few things along the way to make your
lives easier all around.

We
require that your pet’s vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper
and Bordetella be current. So, please call us, so we can
verify your pet’s shot records. (Before 5:30 PM) (Classes
start at 6:30 PM)
(First Time Customers Only!)
If you have never been to Poochies & Mutts before, for
Boarding, Day Care, Grooming or Training, call us several days
before, So that we can verify your pet’s shot records with
your vet.
(Arrive by 6:15 PM – We Lock Our Doors At 6:25 PM)
